95 Cases of Pelviscopic Surgery

Abstract
Ninety five cases of pelviscopic operation were performed at Eul Ji General Hospital from July, 1992 to December 1993.
@ES The results of this study were summarized as follows.
@EN 1. Age ranged from 15 to 45 years and the great incidence occured in 31 to 35 years group.
2. The mean number of parity was 1.2 and the two times and below was 87.5%.
3. major indications were of ectopic pregnancy 39 cases(41%), ovarian tumor 25 cases(26%), infertility 11 cases(12%).
4. The major types of surgery were salpingectomy 30 cases(31.5%), adnexectomy 29 dases(30.5%).
5. The mean duration of hospitalization was 3.5 days.
6. The most common complication was infection at the puncture site in 3 cases.
In conclusion, Pelviscopic surgery makes minimal incision, minimal postoperative adhension, and low morbidity rate, and early recovering brings short hospitalization, and reduction of medical cost.
All things refered above, pelviscopic surgery which imposes a light physical and economic burden on patients is very useful method in gynecologic field
